At a glance

What SmartPM does

SmartPM turns a stream of CPM files into a repeatable control process. Each update is checked for logic and quality, compared with prior versions, and translated into measures such as delay, compression, milestone movement, progress, and forecast completion.

It is most useful where leadership needs one schedule-health language across many projects. It does not remove the need for a competent scheduler: late, incomplete, or poorly coded updates will still limit what the analytics can prove.

Before the demo

What stands out, and what to pin down

What stands out on paper

  • Produces consistent KPIs from native schedule files in minutes
  • Makes schedule risk legible to executives as well as schedulers
  • Preserves a history of changes and performance trends

Questions for the vendor

  • Analytics are only as trustworthy as the schedule updates supplied
  • SmartPM evaluates schedules; it is not the authoring system for day-to-day CPM maintenance
  • Claims teams should still apply contract-specific forensic analysis and professional judgment

An integration name alone does not tell you which records move, in which direction, or how often. Ask to see the exact workflow you need using representative data.
